Beautiful! I love the fact that it is abstract but the more you look at the more I see vague figures or the after effects of movement. Wonderful piece! I'm a printmaker which presents interesting challenges especially when you want to be abstract. Where do you start with your pieces? I mean do you think through your ideas in your head or are these completely spontaneous with little forethought before their creation.
Unfortunately, I don't have anything between "not thinking" and "over-thinking". And when I over-think I ruin everything I touch. So when I paint (or write or draw) it's always very in the moment, with little to no thought as to what might happen next- I add something, take away something, and see where it goes.
I've been in love with printmaking for years, but the one time I tried it (in high school, years ago, I think it was silk screening) my results were very disappointing because I just can't make my brain work that way.
